Welcome to the world of disaster relief!

The Greater East Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters serves the twelve counties of the Deep East Texas Council of Governments area. A myriad of organizations representing governmental, non-governmental, faith based organizations, non-profit and for profit organizations have agree to work together to meet the needs of the citizens of our twelve counties during disasters. Each member organization has pledged to provide material, manpower and support to any disaster victim without discrimination. They meet quarterly to train, discuss new methods and share the latest disaster relief information with those who are actively involved in disasters. If your organization is serving or would like to serve in the Greater East Texas area, or maybe you would like to find a worthy organization to donate your time to, feel free to contact any of our members for information.
